Winter Gardenz horticultural benches are commercial-grade benches that are practical and versatile. Suitable for indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse use, the Winter Gardenz range of benches is designed and manufactured in New Zealand and built to last. These strong and durable benches are made to a very high standard and are constructed from quality materials that will provide years of trouble-free service. There are a range of sizes (from 0.6m to 1.5m wide x 2m to 16m long) and styles to suit most common horticultural applications, including Stationary benches, Mobile benches and Sliding benches. Platform mounted rolling benches are also available. Our benches are designed to carry a maximum weight loading of 70kg/m2, with custom sizes, configurations, and increased load ratings available.
The Winter Gardenz platform mounted rolling bench system is a side-shifting bench system designed for larger production greenhouses, to allow for best utilisation of available floor space and plant production. Typical installations of this bench system can increase productive growing area within a greenhouse by approx. 20% to 30%, by reducing the necessity for aisles/walkway access between each and every bench. Having the ability to roll the benches sideways allows you to open a single walkway around a single bench, as and when required.
Standard bench tops are 1.2m or 1.5m wide, with bench lengths being 2m, 4m, 6m, 8m, 10m, 12m and 16m long. Custom sizes are available. The benches are supplied with a mesh top as standard but are designed to take an optional flood and drain (ebb and flow) tray if required.
