Security
Our website uses 128-bit SSL encryption to protect your contact, delivery, and payment information. This data is used solely for order fulfillment and billing. We do not collect or share personal information without consent.
Privacy

Guarantee
Our glasshouses come with a guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship, effective from the purchase date. This does not cover damage from improper assembly, care, extreme weather, accidents, or natural material degradation. Glasshouses are not guaranteed to be watertight structures, as they are designed for horticultural use, not as dwellings. Proof of purchase is required for claims.
At our discretion, we may repair, replace, or refund defective items. For accidental damage, repairs can be arranged at a reasonable cost, with freight charges borne by the customer.
Glass Care: Keep glass panes dry before assembly to prevent calcification spots, a natural occurrence when glass is exposed to rain.
Compliance with Local Regulations
Customers are responsible for obtaining necessary permits and ensuring compliance with New Zealand building codes and local regulations, including zoning and boundary considerations. Contact your local council before installation.
Out-of-Stock Items
If an item is unavailable, we will notify you and offer alternatives, such as a different model, size, delayed delivery, or order cancellation. Partial orders are not shipped unless agreed, with adjusted freight charges.
Missing or Damaged Parts
Inspect your glasshouse within three months of delivery for missing or damaged parts. Report issues within 60 days for replacement parts. Note any shipping damage with the carrier for claims.
Return Policy
Items may be returned within 30 days in new condition with original packaging, subject to a 20% restocking fee (excluding freight costs). Contact us before returning. Refunds are processed within 7 business days of receipt, using the original payment method.
Shipping
Orders are processed at our Kumeu factory. Accessories ship within 2-7 days, glasshouses up to one month, and polycarbonate items within 2-4 weeks, with rural deliveries taking 1-2 additional days. Shipping costs are calculated based on postcode, weight, and size. Items under 1.5m ship via courier; larger items via Mainfreight Ltd.
General Terms
"The Seller" refers to Winter Gardenz Ltd; "The Buyer" refers to the purchasing entity. These terms form the entire agreement, superseding any buyer conditions unless accepted in writing by the Seller. Variations or cancellations require Seller approval, with a potential 15% handling fee.
Delivery
The Seller may deliver in one shipment or installments, with payment due per installment. Delivery times are estimates, and the Seller selects the delivery method, with costs charged to the Buyer unless otherwise agreed.
Shortages, Damages, or Loss in Transit
Notify shortages within 7 days of delivery. For damages or loss, endorse the carrier’s note and inspect goods within 7 days. Claims must follow carrier procedures, with details reported to the Seller.
Seller’s Liability
The Seller is not liable for goods unsuitable for the Buyer’s purpose. Liability is limited to repairing or replacing defective goods within the guarantee period (or 12 months if unspecified), excluding consequential damages or misuse-related issues.
Property and Risk
Risk transfers to the Buyer upon collection or delivery. Ownership remains with the Seller until full payment, with goods held in a fiduciary capacity. The Seller may repossess goods if payment is not made, with the Buyer liable for related costs.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
For business purchases, the Act does not apply. For non-business purchases, these terms comply with the Act, ensuring no limitation of the Buyer’s rights.
Personal Property Securities Act 1999
These terms create a security interest in supplied goods until paid. The Buyer agrees to assist with PPSR registration and notify changes in details.
Disputes
Disputes are subject to arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1996. New Zealand law governs this agreement.
