Built for home greenhouses, the Winter Gardenz Frostguard is a 2kW electric fan heater that keeps your plants safely above freezing, even on the coldest nights. It pairs a powerful heating element with gentle air circulation, moving warm air around to raise the temperature evenly and hold it there.

You're in control, with an adjustable thermostat that goes up to 40°C. When it warms up, switch off the heating element and run it as a regular circulation fan to stop heat building up and help ventilation.

One compact, easy-to-use unit for hobby and home greenhouses, giving you dependable frost protection in winter and fresh airflow in summer.

How Do I Place an Order?

Are Your Greenhouses Made in New Zealand?

Yes! Our greenhouses are made in our factory in Kumeu and are Certified New Zealand Made. Designed for local conditions, they offer durability, support, and peace of mind.

Do I Need Consent?

Most kitset greenhouses don’t require consent if under 30 square metres. Larger models or public installations may require documentation, which we can help provide.

Kitset Greenhouse Delivery

Greenhouses are shipped to the nearest Mainfreight depot due to weight. You’ll need a trailer to collect them, and the depot will forklift the crate onto it.

What Tools Do I Need for Assembly?

  • Cordless impact driver (with supplied 10mm nut setter/socket)
  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • Set square, spirit level, tape measure
  • Scissors or sharp knife
  • Bucket of warm soapy water (helps with rubber beading)

How Difficult Is Assembly?

For reference, a 8x8ft greenhouse takes two people about a day to build.
